Rio de Janeiro Fluminense defeated Quito 3-1 in the return game of the Copa dos Libertadores final and won the trophy on the two away goals the club had scored in Quito in a 4-2 loss.
Fluminense can now focus on improving its position in the standings of the Brazilian Premier League : considering it starts from the last spot, it should not be « Mission : Impossible ».
