Formula 1 : Renault's team strategy.

In an unprecedented move (to the best of my limited knowledge), Renauld asked number 2 driver Nelson Piquet Jr (Jr being the operative word) to crash into a wall during the Singapore Grand Prix, so the pace car could enter the track and Renault number 1 driver Fernando Alonso make up the time lost in an early pit stop, move to the top position when it was the other drivers' time to refuel and eventually win the race.

Some claim Renault did not even have to ask: a natural team player, Nelson Piquet Jr would have crashed into the wall of his own initiative.

In any case, a brilliant move.
